The 2026 school competition

On 20 June 2026 the Georgian Robotics Association (GRA) organised the School Robotics Competition 2026 for grade 7–12 pupils of Georgia's public and private schools, at Radio City | District 4, as part of the Georgian STEAM & Robotics Championship.

It continues the tradition of our school competitions, which began with the first competition in 2022.

Two tracks and the rules

The competition had two tracks:

  • Zigzag;
  • Labyrinth.

The rules:

  • any public or private school with the right robot equipment could take part; different types of robots were allowed;
  • the robot performed every task by itself, with its own program — remote control was not allowed;
  • a team had 2–5 pupils from grades 7–12; a school could register several teams;
  • one robot had to complete both tracks — skipping one meant disqualification;
  • taking part was free for schools.

How to prepare — in our school robotics guide.

The next competition
