DescriptionAbout the competition
Organized by the Georgian Robotics Association (GRA), the Georgia National Robotics Championship in Sumo and Line Follower categories will be held on June 20, 2026.
The winning teams will have the opportunity to represent Georgia at the international Sumo and Line Follower robotics championship held in Romania, Europe.
The goal of the event is to unite innovators, engineers, and technology enthusiasts from across Georgia. Participants will showcase their technical expertise and creativity by designing autonomous robots to compete in various categories.
Conditions for Participating in the Competition
- Any interested person aged 14 and older who wishes to participate and has the necessary equipment can take part in the competition. School teams are also allowed. 🏫🧑🎓
- It is important to note that the robot must complete all tasks independently using program code. It is not allowed for the participant to remotely control the robot during the competition. 💻🎮🚫
Sumo Robot Specifications
- Mini SUMO: Robots up to 0.5 kg that fit inside a 10x10 cm box
- Mega SUMO: Robots from 0.5 kg to 3 kg that fit inside a 20x20 cm box
Line Follower Specifications
- Robots up 3 kg that fit inside a 30x30 cm box
The minimum number of team members is 2, and the maximum is 5. A team may participate in more than one weight category if they follow the relevant rules. Team members will be responsible for creating the Sumo and line follower robot using their own resources and preparing for the final day.

One team member must fill out the electronic application form no later than May 24, 2026
