Introduction

Kokadama5 is in the quarterfinal
Kokadama5, the robot of Kokadama — one of Team Georgia's teams — is in the quarterfinal at RoboChallenge 2026! The tense, nerve-racking fights ended in our favour: in Bucharest, Romania, in the 1.36 kg (3 lb) combat robot category, Kokadama5 beat four opponents in a row.
56 robots from 12 countries entered the category. Only eight of them reached the quarterfinal of the second-chance bracket — Georgia's robot among them.
Four wins in a row
Kokadama5 began the championship with a defeat — it lost its first fight to Delta V (Team IDKWID) from the United Kingdom. In this tournament one defeat does not yet mean the end: a robot that loses once goes on fighting in the second-chance bracket and leaves the tournament only after a second defeat.
Kokadama made the most of that chance and beat four opponents on the way to the quarterfinal:
- Princess Megatron 3000 — Arduidiots, Romania;
- Gunter — AR-UPIITA, Mexico;
- O.M. (Overkill Machine) — Gagauzian Project Group, Moldova;
- Taz — TARS UPV, Spain.
The quarterfinal opponent
In the quarterfinal, Kokadama5 faced AḠDAR PL of the Uzbek team Team Khudanov.
We will tell you about this fight, Kokadama4's path and Kokadama's final results at the championship in a summary article. The official results of every fight are on the championship's website: Combat Robot 3lb — the tournament bracket.
Team Kokadama
